This picture is final study for the large Oil on Canvas painting commision.
I have firstly done b/w sketch, which (after approvement) I have scanned; and using ArtRage 2 and Photoshop, I came to this. I mainly used ArtRage for robust painting, and Photoshop for fine color correction and enhancement.
This is done completely from the head (no reference picture), so I had lots of freedom to draw all kind of plants and compose this freely (following few guidelines from the customer). Therefore the title Pseudo-Zagorje (Zagorje is part of the Croatia which may have landscapes like this)!
